O R D E R
Mr.P.Ganesan, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents. With consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission itself.
2. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to grant Patta for the land measuring an extent of 30 cents in survey No.672/2 in the No.5, Nellikuppam Village, Thiruporur Taluk, Chengalpatt District in petitioner's name by mutating all revenue records from Tharisu into the Petitioner's name based on the petitioner's representation dated 23.04.2025 within the time frame fixed by this Court.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has been in possession of the aforesaid property for the past 40 years. He made a representation to the respondents on 23.04.2025 for grant of patta with respect to the aforesaid property. As the same did not evoke any response, the petitioner has come forward with this writ petition seeking for the 2/5
aforesaid relief.
4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondents will pass orders on the representation of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law, within a stipulated period.
5. Heard both sides.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondent concerned to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 23.04.2025, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and also affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and KRISHNAN RAMASAMY, J.
