ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as A2 apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 294(b) and 506(i) IPC in Crime No.611 o 2018 on the file of the respondent police and seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The case of the prosecution is that on 29.07.2018 at about 3.45 pm, while the defacto complainant along with his relatives were walking on the road, the petitioner along with three other accused waylaid the defacto complainant Selvaraj, abused in filthy language and attacked the defacto complainant by his hands and also threatened him with dire consequences, resulting in registration of the case.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and that a false complaint has been registered against the petitioner. Further, he would submit that no one was injured.

5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioners and other accused attacked the defacto complainant with hands and threatened with dire consequences. He would further submit that a petition filed by the co-accused was dismissed by this Court. Hence, he prays that this petition may be dismissed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

6. Considering the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and in view of the fact that the petition filed by the co-accused before this court was dismissed, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
