This Criminal Original petition has been filed seeking for transfer of investigation in Crime No.145 of 2023 pending before the 1st respondent to some other investigating agency. 2.

Heard Mr.V.B.Balasubramaniam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents.

It is seen from records that the FIR itself was registered only on 22.05.2023. However, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the collection agent at the instigation of the bank was insulting and abusing the petitioner and was outraging the modesty of the petitioner. Therefore, it was submitted that the respondent police was not serious enough to take any action and no one has been arrested till date. 4.

This Court has carefully went through the allegation contained in the FIR and it is seen that the allegations are quite serious. Just 2/4

because a person does not repay back the loan amount, that does not mean that the person can be addressed in an unparliamentary language. This shall be kept in mind by the respondent police and they shall effectively investigate this case and file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.

This Criminal Original petition is disposed of with the above directions.
