This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to comply with the directions issued by the first respondent through proceedings dated 11.12.2020 within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Heard Mr.S.Prabhu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.G.Velu, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents.

The case of the petitioner is that the first respondent, through proceedings dated 11.12.2020, directed the second respondent to register the death of Subbayammal w/o.Pachamuthu Assari and Rathnavel s/o.Senkoda Asari and further directed the second respondent to initiate criminal action against one Nainamali and Palanisamy. In spite of the said order passed by the first respondent, the second respondent did not act upon the order. The representation made by the petitioner in this regard on 02.09.2024 also did not evoke any response. It is under these circumstances, the present writ petition came to be filed before this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the order passed by the first respondent dated 11.12.2020, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to act upon the said order and comply with the same within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
