This petition has been filed to direct the respondent Police to file Final Report in crime No.49 of 2016.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that FIR in Crime No.49 of 2016 was initially registered by the Vellore Taluk Police Station and for want of jurisdiction, the case has now been transferred to the file of the Vellore North Police Station. 4.Taking into consideration the nature of allegations in the FIR, this Court directs the Inspector of Police, Vellore North Police Station to complete the investigation in Crime No.49 of 2016 [Vellore Taluk Police Station] within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and either file a Charge Sheet or a Closure Report as the case may https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
