ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.,] The petitioner is the father of one Samuel David Raja, who is aged 21 years. On the allegation that the detenu has been found missing from July 2015, the petitioner lodged a complaint, on the basis of which, CSR.No.04/SPG/SB/2015 dated 14.12.2015 was issued. Since the detenu has not been secured by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
respondent police, the petitioner has come up with the present petition.
Today, the detenu Samuel David Raja, has been produced by the respondent police. Despite intimation to the petitioner as well as the learned counsel for the petitioner, they were not made appearance.
When we enquired, the detenu submitted that he was not detained by anybody and instead, he went out of his parental home on his own volition and married one Saranya and now, he is living with her.
Since we are satisfied from the statement of the detenu that he is not under illegal detention of anyone, no direction as prayed for, can be issued.
Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed. -s/dAssistant Registrar True Copy Sub-Assistant Registrar AP To 1.The Superintendent of Police Vellore.
