Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to grant separate patta in favour of the petitioner's name in respect of his property 1/5

O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the second respondent to grant separate patta in his favour in respect of property situated at Survey No.254/4F, Punjai 3 acres at Poiyathanallur Helmet, Eluppaiyur Village, Ariyalur Taluk and District, by considering the representation dated 12.01.2024.

2. According to the petitioner, the above mentioned property originally belonged to his mother Samundi and Manimegalai and after their death, he is entitled to the same. Hence, he submitted a representation on 12.01.2024 seeking issuance of separate patta in his name and the same has not been considered by the respondents.

3. Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader takes 2/5

notice for the respondents 1 to 4, on instructions submitted that the petitioner seeking issuance of computer patta in his name and the same can be considered only when the petitioner submits his application through online mode.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the petitioner to submit proper application through online mode within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. On such application, the second respondent is directed to consider the request of the petitioner for granting separate patta and pass orders and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks thereafter.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
