ORDER

The wife, who is the respondent in OP No.1469 of 2025 pending on the file of II Additional Family Court, Chennai is the petitioner herein, seeking transfer of the said proceedings to Sub Court, Tindivanam.

2. Despite service of notice, the respondent/husband has neither chosen to appear in person nor through counsel. Therefore, I have proceeded to hear 1/4

the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is residing at Tindivanam and she finds it difficult to travel from Tindivanam to Chennai to attend the proceedings initiated by the respondent/husband in OP No.1469 of 2025 and the learned counsel further submits that the petitioner has to take care of her minor daughter and she finds it inconvenient to attend the proceedings at Chennai leaving the minor daughter at Tindivanam. Therefore, she seeks for transfer request.

4. I have gone through the affidavit filed in support of the transfer petition. I am satisfied that the petitioner has made out a good ground for transfer of case.

5. In view of the above, Tr.C.M.P.No.604 of 2025 is allowed and OP No.1469 of 2025 is withdrawn from the file of II Additional Family Court, Chennai and transferred to Sub Court, Tindivanam.

6. The II Additional Family Court, Chennai is directed to transfer the entire records relating to OP No.1469 of 2025 to Sub Court, Tindivanam 2/4
