This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.68 of 2017.

2.The petitioner is A-1 in Crime No.68 of 2017 under Section 6[3] and 14 of TN Scheduled Commodities [RDCS] Order and Section 7[1][a][ii] of the Essential Commodities Act.

3.Today, Mr.V.Padma Kumar, HC 35163, CSCID, Chennai Unit is present before this Court. On instructions, learned Government Advocate submitted that six months time is granted, the Police will complete the investigation.

4.Recording the same, this Court directs the respondent Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.68 of 2017 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and either file a Charge Sheet or a Closure Report as the case may be. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
