(Judgment of the Court was delivered by V.M.VELUMANI,J.) The learned counsel appearing for the appellant submitted that in O.P.No.223 of 2020, the respondent / wife has filed counter statement 1/4

and only to drag on the proceedings, she has filed application for interim maintenance and seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this Civil Miscellaneous Appeal and made an endorsement to that effect. The learned counsel appearing for the appellant further prayed for speedy disposal of O.P.No.223 of 2020.

2.Recording the submission and the endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the appellant, this Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is dismissed. The IV Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Chennai is directed to dispose of O.P.No.223 of 2020 as expeditiously as possible, in any event, within six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
