O R D E R

(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 341 and 392 of IPc in Crime No.545 of 2020, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that totally there are 8 accused in this case and the petitioner is ranked as A8. All the accused persons are said to have chased the lorry and assaulted the defacto complainant and and stolen the lorry worth about Rs.2,25,000/-. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the main accused has been arrested and now been released on bail. He would submit that the petitioner has nothing to do with the alleged offence and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Therefore, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions would submit that the petitioner is a habitual offender and he has two https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

previous cases which is similar in nature. Some of the accused are still in jail. Hence, he opposed to grant anticipatory bail.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and taking note of the fact that the petitioner is a habitual offender and that two previous cases are pending against him which are similar in nature and that some of the accused are still in jail, this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
