PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner representation dated 23.08.2021 and cancel the patta No.592 granted in favour of the fourth respondent in respect of the survey Nos. 6/B1 and 6/B3, in accordance with the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, within the time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 23.08.2021 and cancel the patta No.592 granted in favour of the fourth respondent in respect of the survey Nos. 6/B1 and 6/B3, in accordance with the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Heard, Mr.A. Venkatesan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

3. Without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.08.2021, after issuance of notice to the fourth respondent and the counter parties, if any and after giving them an opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
