ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the impugned communication dated 24.04.2025 of the second respondent and for a consequential direction to the respondents to deal with the application submitted by the petitioner, wherein the petitioner is seeking for renewal of licence for manufacturing of fertilizers.
2. Heard Mr.C.Munusamy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.E.Veda Bagath Singh, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.
3. The petitioner has been issued with manufacturing certificate of fertilizers in the year 2022. The period of licence was coming to an end on the expiry of three years. Hence, the petitioner submitted an application for renewal of the licence on 17.04.2025. The second respondent has returned the application on the ground that there is a delay of three days in submitting the application. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition has been filed.
4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that there was very minimum delay in submitting the 2/4
application and rejection has taken place even without issuing notice to the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to deal with the applicable submitted by the petitioner on merits instead of putting the delay against the petitioner, and take a decision within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of this order. The impugned communication dated 24.04.2025 is hereby quashed.
