O R D E R

The petitioner claims that she was born within the limits of Kakinada Municipal Corporation on 11.09.1982. She recently came to know that her birth was also registered at the Yanam Municipality. 2.The petitioner submits that this second mentioned registration of the birth by the Yanam Municipality has been mischievously done at the instance of some third party and adds that even her passport carries the place of her birth as Kakinada. She has therefore applied to the respondent to cancel the registration of her birth at Yanam Municipality and seeks a direction to the respondent, since there is no movement forward on her representation. 3.This court now directs the respondent to hold an enquiry on the representation of the petitioner dated 11.12.2020 and hold an enquiry after extending a right of hearing to the petitioner or to her representative and dispose of the same within a period of 12 weeks from today.

4.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed. However, there is no order as to costs.
