When the matter came up for hearing, this Court expressed its mind to the learned counsel for the petitioners by bringing to the notice of the learned counsel the letter dated 14.02.2023 issued by the Mission Director of Pondicherry State Health Society. This Court pointed out that there is no question of considering the regularisation without this letter being put to challenge.

The learned counsel for the petitioners sought for the permission of this Court to withdraw this writ petition and to work out his remedy by asking the appropriate relief by filing a fresh writ petition.
