The present criminal original petition has been filed to call for the records in Crime No.7 of 2013 on the file of Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Gingee and quash the same.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that in the case in Crime No.7 of 2013, after completion of investigation, charge sheet was filed before the Mahila Court, Villupuram, and the same was taken on file as C.C.No.27 of 2015 on 09.10.2015 and the petitioner was also acquitted on 25.11.2016.

3. Since charge sheet has already been filed in Crime No.7 of 2013, and the case ended in acquittal, nothing survives in this petition for adjudication. Hence, recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the present criminal original petition is closed.
