This petition is filed under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, to condone the delay of 413 days in filing the Criminal Appeal against the Judgment dated 29.03.2022 in S.T.C.No.8 of 2021 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate (FTC), Ambattur.

2. Though Mr.M.I.Javid Akbar, learned counsel for the respondent filed a detailed counter, did not raise any serious objection in allowing this petition.

3. This Court is satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition. Hence, the petition is allowed.

4. Registry is directed to number the Criminal Appeal, if it is in order, and list the matter for admission.
