This criminal original petition has been filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.991 of 2020 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent police to any other investigating agency like Central Crime Branch, Chennai or CBCID, Chennai. 2.Pursuant to the earlier order passed by this Court, a status report has been filed by the 2nd respondent police.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the accused person attended for the enquiry and part payment was also made to the petitioners and the accused person has promised that the balance amount will be settled shortly. The statement given by the 1st petitioner in this regard on 04.09.2023 was also placed before this court.
