ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The writ of mandamus has been instituted to direct the first respondent to pass an order in pursuant to the proceedings No.13647/si.pu.1/2023 dated 11.04.2023 passed by the 2nd respondent and consequently direct the respondents to release the petitioner's husband, namely, Mr.Kotti @ Panneer Selvam S/o.Natarajan (CT No.724).

2. The application seeking premature release of the prisoner is pending for consideration.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the process is in progress.

4. Taking note of the fact that the process is going on, the first respondent is directed to consider the application filed by the petitioner seeking premature release of the petitioner and pass appropriate final orders on merits and in

accordance with law as expeditiously possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
