This miscellaneous petition has been filed to condone the delay of 50 days in filing the appeal.

2. Learned counsel for the respondent opposed this petition.

3. Considering the submissions and the reasons stated in the affidavit, this Court is of the view that the delay may be condoned, on payment of cost.

4. Accordingly, the delay is condoned on payment of cost of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) by the petitioner to the Tamilnadu Legal Aid Services Authority, Chennai, on or before 04.11.2024.

5. On payment of cost, the Registry is directed to number the appeal and post it for admission on 05.11.2024, if the same is otherwise in order.

6. If the cost is not paid on or before 05.11.2024, this C.M.P. stands dismissed without further reference to this Court.
