Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the second respondent dated 05.02.2016 in BCDFGISSSV No.60/2016 against the husband of the petitioner, Detenu Balaji M/A 35, S/o Mahadevan, who is confined at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai and to set aside the same and consequently direct the respondents to produce the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty.

[Order of the Court was made by G.CHOCKALINGAM, J.] The petitioner, who is the wife of detenu, Balaji, Son of Mahadevan, aged about 35 years, has come forward with this petition challenging the detention order passed by the 2nd respondent dated 05.02.2016 against her husband branding him as a "Goonda" under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Drug Offenders, Forest Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Sand Offenders, Slum Grabbers and Video Pirates Act, 1982 [Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982]. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent as against the husband of the petitioner dated 05.02.2016 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. [Rt] No.1339, dated 28.03.2016 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.
