This petitioner is facing a prosecution in STC.No.197 of 2015 before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Vridhachalam under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, for quashing which, this petition has been filed.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials placed on record.

3.Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the cheque amount is Rs.70,000/-, which the petitioner is always ready and willing to pay the complainant, for settling the matter amicably. But, however, the complainant is not coming forward for settlement.

4.Accepting the submission, in order to show his bonafide, the petitioner is directed to deposit the cheque amount to the credit of STC.No.197 of 2015 before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Vridhachalam within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such deposit, the learned Magistrate shall send parties to the Mediation Centre for arriving them at a settlement. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
