PRAYER Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to forthwith settle EPF (Employees Provident Fund), EDLI (Employees Deposit Linked Insurance) and other death benefits as accrued to his credit with admissible interest thereon from the date on which the same fell due on the demise of her husband Mr. Bharat Kumar.

ORDER
Writ petition is filed for a Mandamus directing the first respondent to forthwith settle the EPF (Employees provident Fund), EDLI (Employees Deposit Linked Insurance) and other death benefits as accrued to his credit with admissible interest thereon from the date on which the same fell due on the demise of her husband Mr.Bharat Kumar and to pass such further orders. 2.When the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the first respondent would produce a communication dated 02.01.2026 in and by which it can be seen that to the credit of the petitioner, a sum of Rs.1,52,848/- being EPF and a sum of Rs.3,03,774/- being EDLI have been settled and therefore, nothing further survives to be decided by this Court.
3. In this regard, Mr.L.Chandrakumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner would submit that, the rate payable were all revised vide proceedings in E-File No. 27058 dated 29.04.2021. However, the respondents have wrongly calculated and settled a lesser sum with reference to EDLI.
4. Upon considering the said submission, it can be seen that primarily, the relief, which is prayed for, is granted; however the petitioner is still aggrieved by the quantum of EDLI amount. With reference to the quantum of EDLI
amount, it will be open for the petitioner to make a representation within two weeks, from the date of receipt of a web copy of the order, duly enclosing the said proceedings dated 29.04.2021 and such other documents, as the petitioner wishes to enclose. Upon receipt of the said representation the same shall be considered in accordance with law and final orders shall be passed within a period of six weeks thereafter.
5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
