ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirutani to complete the committal proceedings in P.R.C.No.33 of 2025 within the stipulated time prescribed by this Court.

2. The prayer in this Criminal Original Petition is innocuous and as such, the same is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

3. The petitioner prays that the committal proceedings in P.R.C.No.33 of 2025 shall be completed in an early date.

4. The learned Counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Criminal Side) for the respondent submits that except for the fourth accused, on whom the service of summons is incomplete, the other accused are appearing before the Court. Once the summons is served on the fourth accused, the committal proceedings will be completed.

5. In view thereof, the respondent Police shall take steps to serve the summons on the fourth accused by all means, including by electronic 2/4

means if there is an authenticated mobile number, authenticated email etc. Even if the summons is not served on the fourth accused, the Trial Court shall post the matter within ten working days and the Police shall complete the service of summons as expeditiously as possible, so that the committal proceedings are completed at the earliest.
