Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to revise the seniority of the petitioners in the post of Firka Surveyor and Sub-Inspector of Survey by following the confirmed seniority list of field surveyor dated 22.10.1996 published by the third respondent as per the order passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in C.A.No.926 of 2004 dated 20.05.2009 and grant time scale of pay in the post of field surveyor from the date on which his immediate junior was given with all consequential benefits viz., arrears of pay, retrospective promotion etc., respectively.

subsequent to the filing of these writ petitions, the respective petitioners have filed two separate writ petitions in WP.Nos.23327 and 23791 of 2013 seeking the very same relief as claimed herein and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in these matters.

2.Recording the same, both the writ petitions stand closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are also closed.
