Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent herein to issue patta in the name of the petitioner herein with respect of S.F.No.172/2A, Karuppur Village, Salem District after receipt of the market value of the said property or execute lease in the name of the petitioner herein by considering the representation of the petitioner herein dated 21.10.2014.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
The petitioner claims to have patta in respect of the lands in Survey Nos.172/1, 173/1 and 173/2 of Karuppur Village, Thideerpattinam, Omalur Taluk,Salem District and according to her, she had encroached Medu Poramboke land in Survey NO.172/2A and is running a Limestone factory and through a representation dated 21.10.2014 to the 1st respondent, she prayed for issuance of patta for the said survey No.172/2A or in the alternative, lease of the said land or outright sale of the same and though it was received and acknowledged, no orders have been passed and hence, she came forward to file the present writ petition.

Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sanjay Gandhi, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner either in her representation or in this writ petition, directs the 1st respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 21.10.2014 in accordance with law, after putting on notice, the person/s concerned and pass orders within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the person/s concerned.
The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
