Prayer:- Writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to give police protection to shift the HT line of the petitioner property situated at D.No.122, Karpagavinayakar Street, Kondalampatti, Salem and as per the representation given by the 2nd respondent dated 21.03.2022.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent to give police protection to shift the HT line of the petitioner property situated at D.No.122, Karpagavinayakar Street, Kondalampatti, Salem, as per the representation given by the 2nd respondent dated 21.03.2022.

2. Heard, Mr.B.Kumarasamy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Santhosh, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the third respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that

now the Assistant Engineer, Operation/Maintenance, Tamil Nadu Generation & Distribution Corporation Limited, Kondalampatti, Salem District, requested the third respondent to provide adequate police protection while shifting HT line.

4. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, the third respondent is directed to consider the request made by the second respondent, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and the respondents 4 and 5 herein and after giving them an opportunity of hearing and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
