..Respondent in all W.Ps Common Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to grant incentive increments to the petitioner for acquiring the higher qualifications and grant the petitioner all consequential benefits within a time limit to be stipulated by this Honourable Court.

MR. S. PRABHAKARAN GA COMMON ORDER Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

2. Today when the writ petitions are taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners has placed before this Court a copy of the order dated 21.01.2026 in W.A(MD).No.448 of 2021, whereby the appeal filed by the State through District Educational Officer and Block Educational Officer against the order made in W.P.(MD).No.18120 of 2020, wherein similar issue as involved in the present writ petition has fallen for consideration. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Division Bench was pleased to dismiss the above mentioned writ appeal filed by the State and the respondent/State was directed to grant incentive increment with effect from the date on which the application was made, calculate the benefits and pay the arrears within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners further submit that issue in the present writ petitions is same as that had been considered by the Hon'ble

Division Bench of this Court and the aforesaid decision would apply in all course to the case of the petitioners.

4. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents does not dispute the aforesaid submission.

5.In view of the above and for the reasons alike as set out in the order dated 21.01.2026 in W.A.(MD).No.448 of 2021 by the Madurai Bench of Madras High Court which affirmed the relief granted in W.P.(MD).No.18120 of 2020, the petitioners in the present writ petitions are also entitled to for being granted the same relief.

6. In view of the above, this writ petition is allowed and the respondents are directed to grant incentive increment with effect from the date on which the application was made and calculate the benefits and pay the arrears within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
