O R D E R
The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking to make necessary entries in the Service Register of the petitioner for having worked as Organizer Noon Meals Centre, Vadamalaiyanur, Tirukoilur taluk from 17.11.1998 to 27.12.2001.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was originally appointed as Organizer Noon Meals Centre, Vasavi Aided Higher Elementary School, Tirukoilur, by order of the management of the said School on 31.03.1983. After his appointment, his service register was also maintained and 1/3
necessary entries were being made from time to time in the service register by the second respondent herein. From 17.11.1998 he was transferred to Vadamalaiyanur Noon Meal Centre as organizer by the order of the 2nd respondent. From 17.11.1998, the petitioner worked as organizer of the noon meal centre upto 27.12.2001. The second respondent should have made necessary entries in the service register for having transferred and for having worked as organizer in the transferred centre.
3. However, the petitioner thereafter appointed as Secondary Grade Teacher in the year 2001, by order of the District Administration but so far necessary entries were not made in the service register from 1998 to 2001 by the second respondent. Since the service register was not maintained and completed by the second respondent, the petitioner will not able to get necessary benefits. For which, the petitioner gave legal notice on 15.04.2018 to the second respondent demanding him to make necessary entries in the service register. Though the second respondent has received the notice but did not make necessary entries.
4. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case and considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, I am inclined to issue direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the legal notice dated 15.04.2019, and further subject to the petitioner filing a fresh representation in this behalf. If such representation is made by the petitioner, the second respondent shall considered the same and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
