Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to change over the patta in the petitioner's name, insofar as it relates to the land situate in S.No.278, Chettipalayam village, Tiruppur Taluk and District to the extent of 1.47 acres of land. Heard the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties concerned.

Though the prayer is for a larger relief, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that it would suffice, if the 1st respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner, dated 6.3.2012, and pass appropriate orders thereon, as expeditiously as possible. 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the 1st respondent has no objection for this Court passing such an order.
4. In view of the above, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner, dated 6.3.2012, and pass appropriate orders thereon, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, as well as the 2nd respondent, and the other persons concerned, if any. However, if the 1st respondent finds that the matter involves disputed questions of facts and law, which have to be decided only by a Civil forum, it https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
would be open to the 1st respondent to advise the parties to avail their remedies, before the appropriate Civil forum, in the manner known to law. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
