ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition was preferred under Sec. 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing the charge sheet filed in C.C.No.238 of 2009 on the file of the III Additional District Magistrate, Pondicherry that arises out of Crime No.431/2001 of respondent police.

2. It is submitted by the learned Public Prosecutor (Pondicherry) that the trial of the case itself has been completed and the petitioner has been acquitted of the charges framed against him.

3. In the result, nothing survives in the petition and the same is closed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
