Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 praying to punish the respondents herein for wilful disobedience of the order of this Hon'ble Court in W.P.No.18416 of 2020 dated 17.11.2021. For petitioner :

The prayer sought in this contempt petition is to initiate contempt proceedings against the respondents and punish them for not obeying the order dated 17.11.2021 of this Court made in W.P.No.18416 of 2020.

2. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the aforesaid order has been complied with by the first respondent by retaining the petitioner as casual laborer/NMR in the office of the Assistant Engineer (General) and Building Maintenance Division, Coonor permanently. He also produced a compliance report vide Ns.3(2) /1261/ 2021, dated 08.08.2023 to that effect, after duly serving a copy of the same on the learned counsel for the petitioner. Page No.2 of 4

Recording the aforesaid compliance report dated 08.08.2023, this contempt petition stands closed.
