Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondent No.4 to issue a equivalence Government Order (G.O) based on the petitioner's application dated 28.04.2025 within the time stipulated by this Court and consequently direct the Respondent No.3 to consider the same. By consent of both the learned counsel for the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself.
2. The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, directing the Respondent No.4 to issue a equivalence Government Order (G.O) based on the petitioner's application dated 2/6
28.04.2025 within the time stipulated by this Court and consequently direct the Respondent No.3 to consider the same.
3. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was selected to the post of P.G. Assistant in Indian Culture and Political Science as per the notification issued by the 3rd respondent, dated 09.09.2021. However, the respondents are delaying in issuance of appointment order requiring equivalence certificate for the degree, which he has obtained in M.A. in Temple Administration, Tourism and Philosophy, with that of the required qualification namely M.A. Indian Culture and Political Science. In this connection, he has sent a representation to the 4th respondent to issue a Equivalence Certificate, vide his request dated 28.04.2025.
5. At this juncture, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the 4th respondent would submit that the 4th respondent is in the process of 3/6
evaluating the subjects studied by the petitioner and they require two months time to complete the said exercise.

In such view of the submission, without going into the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 28.04.2025 and pass orders on it's own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
7. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected writ miscellaneous petition is closed. 02.07.2025 Index : Yes/No Speaking order dm 4/6
