Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., praying to direct the 2nd respondent to provide police protection to the petitioner for running the shop No.20, New bus stand, Arakkonam, Vellore District.

O R D E R

It is the case of the petitioner that his father was alloted shop No.20, New bust stand, Arakkonam by the Municipality. His father went missing and therefore, the petitioner and his mother were running a snack bar under the said shop. It is further alleged by the petitioner that one Anandan and Ravichandran started disturbing the possession of the shop premises and therefore, the petitioner filed W.P.No.20011 of 2018, in which, this Court by order dated 03.08.2018 had granted Status Quo. While so, the petitioner is before this court seeking police protection without impleading the said Anandan and Ravichandran. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate.

3.Be that as it may, this Court cannot grant a blanket order of police protection without hearing the opposite party. However, this Court directs the respondent Police to ensure that the order dated 03.08.2018 passed by this Court in W.P.No.20011 of 2018, is implemented. If there is any law and order problem created by anyone, the respondent Police shall take immediate action in accordance with law.
