ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent Superintendent of Police to issue necessary instructions to the third respondent Police to file a Final Report in the above case in Cr.No.537 of 2019 pending on the file of the third respondent Police.

2. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

3. The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent Police has registered a case in the above said crime number on 08.09.2019, no Final Report is filed till date.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondent Police may be permitted to file a Final Report within a period of four weeks. 2/5

5. In view of the above, the respondent Police is directed to either file a Final Report or a Closure Report, as the case may be, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the de-facto complainant.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed off.
