Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to correct the Patta holder name to Chennammal W/o. Perumal as per the Government allotment dated 14.11.1991 in the Patta, Chitta and issue the corrected FMB sketch for the survey number 474/10 located at the Thandrampattu Village in the Revenue Records by considering the petitioner's representation dated 24.05.2024 within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

With consent of both sides, this Writ Petition has been taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to correct the Patta holder's name to Chennammal, wife of Perumal, as per the Government allotment dated 14.11.1991, in the Patta, Chitta, and to issue the corrected FMB sketch for Survey No. 474/10, situated at Thandrampattu 2/6

Village, in the Revenue Records, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 24.05.2024, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

3. The petitioner submitted the said representation dated 24.05.2024 to the first respondent, seeking to correct the Patta holder's name in favour of the petitioner, in respect of the land comprised in Survey No. 474/10, situated at Thandrampattu Village, Tiruvannamalai District.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the Patta was wrongly issued in the name of R.Devendiran, son of Ramachandran, in respect of the property comprised in Survey No. 474/10, situated at Thandrampattu Village, Tiruvannamalai District, and that it requires an enquiry.

5. In view of the above, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation dated 24.05.2024 made by the petitioner, after issuing notice to the petitioner and counter-parties, if any, and after giving 3/6

them an opportunity of hearing, to pass orders as per the records produced by the parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
