Mr.K.Umesh Rao, SC For R1 to R3 Order Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the subject goods pertaining to the bill of entry, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, have been provisionally released to the petitioner. He would submit that the detention certificate has not been issued to the petitioner. He prays for a direction from this Court to permit the petitioner to give a representation to the respondents to seek for a detention certificate and a direction be issued to the respondents to consider the same, on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2.Since the goods, which are the subject matter of the bill of entry, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, have been released to the petitioner subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, this writ petition is disposed of.
3.Liberty is granted to the petitioner to submit a representation to the respondents seeking for issuance of detention certificate, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such a representation from the petitioner within the stipulated time, the respondents shall consider the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks thereafter.
