Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records relating to the impugned order in No.98/BCDFGISSSV/2016 dated 11.02.2016 on the file of the second respondent herein and set aside the same as illegal and direct the respondents to produce the detenu, Thirunavukkarasu, son of Rajendran, aged about 34 years, now confined at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai, before this Court and set him at liberty.

[Order of the Court was made by V.BHARATHIDASAN, J.] The petitioner, who is the wife of the detenu, namely, Thirunavukkarasu, aged about 34 years, son of Rajendran, has come forward with this petition challenging the detention order passed by the second respondent dated 11.02.2016 against her husband branding him as a "Goonda" under Section 3(1) of the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Cyber Law Offenders, Drug Offenders, Forest Offenders, Goondas, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Immoral Traffic Offenders, Sand Offenders, Sexual Offenders, Slum Grabbers and Video Pirates Act, 1982 [Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982].
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the second respondent as against the husband of the petitioner dated 11.02.2016 has been revoked by the Government in G.O.Rt.No.1467, dated 05.04.2016 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.
3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
