ORDER

The petitioner has been granted bail for the offences punishable under Section 8(c) read with Section 20(b)(II)(B) of NDPS Act and under Section 25(1)(A) of Arms Act in Crime No.126 of 2025. Thus, the petitioner seeks modification for the condition imposed in Crl.O.P.No.15772 of 2025 on 12.06.2025 and direct the petitioner to report before the X Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore, instead of the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m., for a period of three weeks thereafter as and when required for interrogation.

2. The petitioner, having availed bail, has not reported to the respondent police; hence, the investigation is also pending. While so, he has filed this petition for modification, stating that he has life threats and therefore the conditions imposed on him need to be modified, and he is ready to report before the learned X Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, instead of the respondent police.

3. This Court, on perusing the record, finds that the presence of the petitioner is necessary for interrogation. While reporting before the learned 2/4

Judicial Magistrate, the respondent police did not complete the investigation.

4. Therefore, the criminal miscellaneous petition stands dismissed. If the petitioner complies with the conditions, the respondent police shall secure him and commit him to prison for breach of bail condition.
