ORDER
This Civil Revision Petition is filed against the order passed in L.A.O.P.No.47 of 2015, dated 08.04.2024 by the VI Assistant Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai, enhancing the compensation of market value of the acquired land to Rs.14,000/- per sq.ft. along with 30% solatium and additional 12% market value from the date of notification till the date of award of referring authorities or the date of taking possession of the land, whichever is earlier and 9% interest for the period of one year from the date of taking possession and thereafter 15% till the date of payment or deposit before the Court. 2.
The respondent's property in Survey No.37/6, Block No.4, Kodampakkam Town, Mambalam-Guindy Taluk, Chennai District, was acquired to an extent of 26 square metres, including the building, for the purpose of forming an Over Bridge in the 100 feet road at Vadapalani, under the Tamil Nadu High ways Act, 2001. The Land Acquisition Officer/1st petitioner, fixed the market value of the land at Rs.4,220/- per sq.ft and passed an award in Award No.3 of 2012, dated 19.10.2012. Aggrieved by the inadequate compensation awarded, the petitioners filed L.A.O.P.No.47 of 2015. The Reference Court enhanced the compensation to Rs.14,000/- per sq.ft.
Aggrieved by the enhancement, the petitioners filed the above Civil Revision Petition.

At the time of hearing, learned counsel for the respondent submitted that in a Civil Revision Petition in CRP No.2719 of 2025 challenging the enhancement of compensation arising out of the same acquisition, this Court on 07.11.2025 dismissed the same confirming the Award of the LAOP Court. The learned counsel produced a copy of the said order. 4.
This Court has perused the order in CRP.No.2719 of 2025. This Court in the said Civil Revision Petition, by a detailed order, considered the entire materials placed on record and dismissed the Civil Revision Petition, confirming the order of the reference Court, enhancing the compensation towards market value of the lands from Rs.4,220/- to Rs.14,000/-. 5.
Since the present Civil Revision Petition arises out of one and the same acquisition and considering the similarity of issues raised in both Civil Revision Petition's, this Court is of the view that the order in the above CRP.No.2719 of 2025, squarely applies to the present case. Therefore, this
Civil Revision Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
