The petitioner has filed this petition seeking for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to issue Patta in favour of petitioners' name in respect of the property comprised in S.No.240/1, measuring an extent of 1 acre 96 cents situated at Magmampapuram Village, Tirutani Division, Ramakrishnaraju Pettai, Thiruvallur District by considering the petitioners' representation dated 17.12.2021.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioners' has made a representation dated 17.12.2021 before the respondent, seeking to issue Patta to the aforesaid property in the name of the petitioners. However, the said application has been rejected by the respondent.
3. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, no further adjudication is Page No.2 of 5
required in this writ petition. Hence, this writ petition stands closed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioners to work out their remedy in the manner known to law. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
