ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the third respondent,-the Inspector of Police, CCB, Tambaram to file a status report before this Court within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of this order, detailing the present stage of investigation and steps taken to file the final report in Crime No.431 of 2022 and to issue direction to the thrid respondent-Police to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.431 of 2022.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents-Police and perused the materials available on record.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that through case in Crime No.431 of 2022 has been registered on 16.8.2022, charge sheet has not been filed by the respondents-Police till today. Hence, the petitioner is constrained to filed this criminal original petition.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents-Police submitted that already investigation has been completed and charge sheet in Crime No.431 of 2022 has also been filed on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.II Court, Chengalput in E-filing No.LTN20230002725/C202500002 on 14.7.2025.

5. In view of the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, petitioner is at liberty to work out her remedy in the manner known to law before the magistrate concerned. 17-07-2025 mfa Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Internet:Yes 3/5
