For Petitioner : Mr.P.Rajkumar Pandian For Respondents : Mr.C.Kasirajan C O M M O N O R D E R Heard Mr.P.Rajkumar Pandian, learned counsel appearing for petitioners and Mr.C.Kasirajan, learned counsel, accepting notice for respondents. With the consent of the learned counsels on either side, the Writ Petitions are taken up for final disposal.

These Writ Petition have been filed by petitioners, seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to consider their representation, dated 21.07.2016, seeking licence for collecting empty bottles and for selling eatables in the bar attached to the Shop bearing Nos.9056, 9030 and 8789, at Chennai.

At the very outset, learned counsel appearing for petitioners pointed out that, this Court, in a similar case, filed by one Mr.S.Murugan, viz. in W.P.No.26268 of 2016, by order, dated 28.07.2016, disposed of the Writ Petition issuing certain directions to the respondent. The learned counsel also produced the photocopy of the said order for reference of this Court, and prays that similar direction may be issued in the present cases as well. At this stage, it would be beneficial to refer the operative portion of the order, dated 28.07.2016,

which is quoted herein below:- "Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 02.06.2016, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and inform the petitioner, as to the exact state of affairs, so that the petitioner would be able to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. No costs. Consequently, the above WMP is closed."

Thus, following the order passed by this Court, in the above referred case, the present Writ Petitions can also disposed of, on the same lines.

Accordingly, the Writ Petitions are disposed of, with a direction to the respondents to consider the representations made by the petitioner individually, dated 21.07.2016, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and inform the petitioners, as to the exact state of affairs, so that the petitioners would be able to work out their remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
