Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records relating to the detention order passed by the second respondent pertaining to the order made in Memo No.37/BCDFGISSSV/2016 dated 30.01.2016 and set aside the order of detention passed therein against the detenu namely, Andrews son of Paulraj Christan, aged about 27 years, who is the son of the petitioner herein, quashing the same and setting him at liberty now detained in Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai. [Order of the Court was made by G.CHOCKALINGAM, J.] The petitioner, who is the mother of the detenu, Andrews, Son of Paulraj, aged about 27 years, has come forward with this petition challenging the detention order passed by the 2nd respondent dated 30.01.2016 against her son branding him as a "Goonda" under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Cyber Law Offenders, Drug Offenders, Forest Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Sand Offenders, Sexual Offenders, Slum Grabbers and Video Pirates Act, 1982 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
[Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982].
2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent as against the son of the petitioner dated 30.01.2016 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. [Rt] No.1081, dated 10.03.2016 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.
3.
