Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to provide electricity service connection pursuant to the application No.2009958010201036 dated 23.10.2020 for the premises situated at No.7, Vinayaga Puram, 7th Street, Karanai Puduchery Village, Chengalpattu.

O R D E R
The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct third respondent to provide electricity service connection pursuant to the application No.2009958010201036 dated 23.10.2020 for the premises
situated at No.7, Vinayaga Puram, 7th Street, Karanai Puduchery Village, Chengalpattu.
2. The learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents would submit that the application submitted by the petitioner seeking electricity service connection was cancelled, since the petitioner has produced an unregistered Sale Deed. The petitioner has to submit other relevant documents to the satisfaction of the Competent Authorities for the purpose of considering the application.
3. Since the application submitted by the petitioner has already been cancelled for want of necessary documents, the relief as such sought for in the present writ petition cannot be granted. However, the petitioner is at liberty to submit all the relevant documents by approaching the Competent Authorities for providing electricity service connection.
