This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to file final report in Crime No.435 of 2016 dated 22.07.2016 on the file of the respondent police.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that investigation in Crime No.435 of 2016 has been closed as "mistake of fact" and a copy of the closure report has also been furnished to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner / de-facto complainant across the bar.

4. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to file closure report before the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Villupuram and liberty is given to the petitioner to approach the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Villupuram in accordance with law. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
