O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to take appropriate action on the change of Pension scheme, based on the representation submitted by the petitioner on 07.04.2023. 2.It is the case of the petitioner that he joined the State Transport Corporation on 21.07.2000 and was made permanent on 01.09.2005. The grievance of the petitioner is that, though the petitioner is to be placed under the Old Pension Scheme and in fact, deductions were made towards Old Pension Scheme from the salary of the petitioner, suddenly, the petitioner has been brought under the Contributory Pension Scheme. The petitioner states that he has submitted his representation for change of Pension Scheme, on 07.04.2023. Since the same did not evoke any response, the present writ petition has been filed. 3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents.

4.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for in the present writ petition, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 07.04.2023, and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
