The petitioner, who apprehend arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 328 IPC and under Section 8(c) and 20(b)(ii)(B) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 in Crime No.114 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that on 03.04.2022, the respondent seized 50 grams of ganja from A1. Based on the confession statement of A1, the petitioner has been implicated in this case.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and only based on the confession statement of A1, the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Anu 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner and other accused were found in possession of 50 grams of Ganja. He further submitted that there is one previous case similar nature pending as against the petitioner. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. .
5. Considering the gravity of offence committed by the petitioner, this Court finds that the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is very much required. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
