..Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of mandamus, to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner vide letter dated 22.09.2020, delivered on 25.09.2020 to convert the land classification of the land in plot No.1, situated at No.86, Pakkam, Nathamedu, bearing Survey No.813, admeasuring to an extent of 1,600 Sq.ft, to a patta land and issue patta in the petitioner's name.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner Vide letter dated 22.09.2020, delivered on 25.09.2020 to convert the land classification of the land in plot No.1, situated at No.86, Pakkam, Nathamedu, bearing Survey No.813, admeasuring to an extent of 1,600 Sq.ft, to a patta land and issue patta in the petitioner's name.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate submitted that the petitioner ought to have move the District Collector, Tiruvallur, for seeking the benefit of G.O.Ms.No.318, Revenue and Disaster Management Department dated 30.08.2019. He also added that there is no immediate intention to disturb the possession of the petitioner.

3. Such submission of the learned Government Advocate is recorded. In view of the same, the petitioner is now required to approach the District Collector with fresh representation if he is so desirous, for seeking the benefit of the said Government Order.
