ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under Section 364-A of IPC in Crime No.702 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Heard both sides.

3.It is seen from the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate that the petitioner and the other 10 accused had kidnapped the defacto complainant and demanded a ransom of 2 crores and they also made him part with 84 grams of gold jewels, one laptop and 37 thousand in cash. Some of the accused have been arrested and released on bail and the investigation is not completed in this case.

4. Considering the nature of offence alleged to have been committed by the accused, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
